Advantages:

  • 100% waterproof with a 15-year service life

  • Super elasticity of 400% — withstands deformation and cracks

  • Tintable and paintable

  • Sound and noise insulation properties

  • Ready to use, easy application, resistant to UV and chlorinated water

Applications:
Brush-applied waterproofing for: roofs (rolled, cement-sand, reinforced concrete), foundations, basements, wet rooms (bathrooms, kitchens, showers, toilets), balconies, terraces, tanks, swimming pools (not for drinking water), walls in contact with soil. 2–3 coats recommended (reinforce with mesh for extra strength).

Application method: Clean the surface from dust/grease/old coating, dampen (not wet), apply evenly with a brush, roller, or spatula (2–3 coats with an interval of 4–6 hours). Control the coverage based on thickness. Full curing — 2–3 days (do not load or wet immediately). Wear gloves, ventilate the area.

  • Foundation Acrylic
  • Application temperature +5…+35 °C
  • Shelf life 18 months
  • Operating temperature -40…+100 °C

Lacrysil "Water Block" Acrylic Waterproofing is a ready-to-use brush-on coating for creating durable (up to 15 years), 100% waterproof, super-elastic (400% elongation) protection. It forms a white (tintable) film with high adhesion, resistant to UV, frost, deformation, household detergents, chlorinated water, and also possesses sound and noise insulation properties.

Recommended Applications:

  • Roofs (rolled, cement-sand, reinforced concrete, flat and pitched)

  • Foundations, plinths, basements, walls in contact with soil (external and internal)

  • Wet rooms (bathrooms, showers, kitchens, laundry rooms, toilets)

  • Balconies, terraces, open areas, roof terraces

  • Tanks, swimming pools, fountains, decorative ponds (basins without drinking water)

  • Floors and walls in basements, garages, basement floors

  • Protection against capillary moisture rise in brick, block, and concrete structures

  • Waterproofing before laying tiles, screeds, laminate, parquet, linoleum

  • Repair and restoration of old waterproofing coatings

  • Protection against atmospheric moisture on facades, parapets, cornices, balconies

Suitable for these surfaces:

  • Concrete, reinforced concrete, brick

  • Cement-sand screeds, plasters

  • Aerated block, foam concrete, expanded clay concrete

  • Metal (after anti-corrosion priming)

  • Wood, chipboard, OSB (in areas without constant moisture)

  • Old tiles, porcelain stoneware, rolled waterproofing (after cleaning and priming)

  • Mineral and porous substrates (after priming)

Not Recommended For:

  • Joints with constant water pressure (e.g., inside a swimming pool basin under pressure — use special waterproofing compounds or membranes)

  • Potable water or food-grade tanks

  • Surfaces with heavy mechanical loads or constant friction without additional protection

  • Areas with service temperatures above +100 °C or below -40 °C

  • Bitumen or roofing felt coatings without prior compatibility testing

Important Recommendations Before Application:

  • The surface must be clean, dry or slightly damp, free of dust, grease, old coatings, efflorescence, mold

  • Remove all loose areas, clean with a wire brush or water jet

  • It is recommended to prime with a deep-penetration acrylic primer (especially porous substrates)

  • For better adhesion and reinforcement — reinforce with fiberglass mesh or non-woven fabric (between layers)

  • Apply 2–3 coats (total thickness 1–2 mm) with an interval of 4–6 hours

  • Do not apply during rain, at temperatures below +10 °C, or in high humidity

  • Apply with a brush, roller, or spatula (for large areas — sprayer)

  • Protect from rain and direct sunlight for the first 24 hours after application

  • Full curing — 24–72 hours (depends on thickness, temperature, and humidity)

  • Can be tinted with pastes or painted with acrylic facade paints after drying

Typical Usage Examples:

  • Brush-on waterproofing of foundations and plinths before backfilling with soil

  • Waterproofing flat roofs before laying rolled material or tiles

  • Protecting basements from capillary moisture from inside and outside

  • Waterproofing balconies or terraces before tiling

  • Sealing and waterproofing walls in bathrooms/showers before tiling

  • Repairing leaks on roofs or in basements
