Lacrysil Foam — Professional and Household Polyurethane Foams for Any Task
High-quality polyurethane foams (TM Lacrysil) — a reliable solution for installation, sealing, and insulation! Excellent adhesion, dimensional stability, high yield, thermal and sound insulation.
Key Features (typical for the line):
Base: Polyurethane (one-component, cures with air moisture)
Color: Beige / Light yellow
Types: Professional (for gun application)
Seasonality: All-season (application from -15…-10 °C to +30…+35 °C)
Service temperature: -60…+100 °C (fire-resistant option up to +1500 °C)
Foam yield: Professional 750–850 ml — up to 60–70 l
Secondary expansion: 15–30% (low for adhesive foam)
Skin formation time: 10–15 min
Time for initial processing (cutting): 15–25 min
Full curing: 12–24 hours
Adhesion: Excellent to concrete, brick, wood, metal, PVC, glass, Styrofoam, OSB, drywall, etc.
After curing: High density, stable dimensions, thermal/sound insulation, moisture resistance (not for permanent immersion), non-conductive
Eco-friendliness: Low odor after drying
Shelf life: 18 months
Advantages:
High yield and uniform structure — economy and precision
Low secondary expansion — no deformation of structures
Excellent adhesion and stability (does not sag, does not crumble)
All-season options — works in winter and summer
Professional quality: fast curing, high insulation, fire-resistant options available
Applications:
Installation of windows/doors/window sills; filling gaps, cavities, cracks; fixing panels, insulation materials, skirting boards; thermal/sound insulation of walls, roofs, floors; sealing openings around pipes/cables; special versions for bonding (adhesive foam) and fire-resistant structures (fireplaces/stoves).
Packaging: 850 ml
Application method: Shake the can 20–30 times, moisten the surface, apply (fill 30–50% of the volume), trim excess after 15–25 min. Full curing — 12–24 h. Wear gloves, ventilate the area.
Reliable polyurethane foams from a Ukrainian manufacturer — Lacrysil! Quality trusted by professionals and thousands of renovations.
Lacrysil Polyurethane Foam (line of professional and household options) is designed for installation, filling, fixing, thermal and sound insulation of joints, cavities, and gaps in construction and renovation. It provides high yield, excellent adhesion, dimensional stability after curing, and protection against cold, noise, and drafts.
Recommended Applications:
Installation of window and door frames (filling joints around frames)
Installation of window sills, thresholds, balcony units, shop windows
Filling and sealing installation joints (interior and exterior)
Fixing panels, boards, insulation materials, sandwich panels
Thermal and sound insulation of walls, roofs, floors, partitions, facades
Sealing openings around pipes, cables, ventilation ducts, plumbing
Filling cracks, cavities, gaps in walls, ceilings, floors
Insulation and sealing in industrial, commercial, and residential facilities
Installation of lightweight structures, temporary formwork, scaffolding
Work with underfloor heating (filling joints after pipe installation)
Protection and fixation of materials on facades, roofs, plinths
Suitable for these surfaces:
Concrete, brick, aerated block, foam concrete
Cement and gypsum plasters, screeds
Wood, chipboard, OSB, plywood
Metal (aluminum, steel, galvanized)
PVC, plastic panels
Glass, ceramics, tiles
Old plaster, wallpaper (after cleaning)
Expanded polystyrene, mineral wool, extruded polystyrene
Not Recommended For:
Filling large cavities without formwork (foam may sag)
Constant contact with water or in aggressive environments (not for waterproofing)
Joints subject to heavy mechanical loads or constant friction
Surfaces constantly submerged in water
Food contact surfaces or areas with direct food exposure
Areas with temperatures above +100 °C after curing
Important Recommendations Before Application:
Surfaces must be clean, free of dust, grease, old foam
It is recommended to moisten the surface with water (for better curing and adhesion)
Shake the can 20–30 times before use
Turn the can upside down during application
Fill the joint to 30–50% of its volume (due to secondary expansion)
Adjust the foam output using a gun (for professional options) or the straw (for household options)
Do not apply to wet surfaces or during heavy rain
Wear gloves, goggles, and work in a ventilated area
Do not load the joint until fully cured (12–24 hours)
Trim excess foam with a knife after 15–25 minutes (after skin formation)
Typical Usage Examples:
Filling joints around a window/door frame after installation
Insulating and fixing facades (filling joints after bonding insulation)
Installing window sills and thresholds with additional filling
Thermal insulation of walls, roofs, floors (filling cavities)
Sealing openings around heating pipes, drains, ventilation
Fixing and filling joints in sandwich panels or partitions
Insulating a balcony, loggia, or garage
Professional repair of cracks in walls, ceilings, foundations
After full curing (12–24 hours), the foam can be cut, sanded, plastered, filled, or painted. It is non-conductive and has excellent thermal and sound insulation properties.
