Lacrysil MS Polymer Adhesive — Hybrid Universal Construction Adhesive

High-quality one-component adhesive-sealant based on MS polymers (TM Lacrysil) — a true universal premium-class "liquid nail"! Provides instant high initial adhesion, an elastic joint with up to 25% movement capacity, works on damp surfaces, contains no silicone, isocyanates, solvents, or plasticizers — environmentally friendly and odorless.

Key Features:

  • Base: Hybrid MS Polymer (cures with atmospheric moisture)

  • Color: White or Transparent

  • Application temperature: +5…+40 °C

  • Service temperature: -40…+100 °C

  • Skin formation time: 15 ± 5 minutes

  • Curing rate: ~2 mm/day

  • Full curing: 24–48 hours (depends on thickness, humidity, temperature)

  • Elasticity: Up to 25% movement capacity (tension/compression)

  • Adhesion: Excellent to wet/dry, smooth/porous surfaces (metal, aluminum, glass, mirrors, wood, concrete, plaster, tiles, PVC, polycarbonate, stone, expanded polystyrene, mineral wool, etc.)

  • After curing: Elastic, strong, waterproof, frost-resistant joint; minimal shrinkage (~1%), resistant to aliphatic solvents, mineral oils, acids, alkalis, salts

  • Eco-friendliness: No toxic substances, low odor, safe for high-humidity areas and the food industry

  • Shelf life: 12 months (+5…+25 °C)

Advantages:

  • Strong adhesion from the first seconds + high elasticity for movement joints

  • Can be applied on damp surfaces, high thixotropy — no sagging on verticals

  • Wide temperature range and chemical resistance

  • Does not dissolve plastics (except PP/PE), safe for mirrors/glass

  • 2 in 1: bonds + seals, economical, odorless

Applications:
Bonding and sealing: metal, glass, mirrors, wood, concrete, tiles, plastics, stone, insulation materials; joints in windows/doors, insulated glazing units, roofing (tiles, slate, sheet metal), facades, sandwich panels; movement joints in construction, automotive, shipbuilding, aviation; furniture, ventilation, food industry, areas with vibration and moisture.

Packaging: 0.4 kg

Application method: Clean surfaces (can be damp), apply from the tube in dots/strips/continuously, press together (fixation is not always necessary due to quick grab). Full curing — 1–2 days.

A reliable hybrid adhesive-sealant — choose Lacrysil MS Polymer. Bonds instantly, seals forever!

Lacrysil / Polifarb MS Polymer Construction Adhesive
Hybrid MS polymer adhesive-sealant. Strong, elastic, water-resistant joint with no shrinkage, paintable.

Intended Use

  • Reliable bonding and sealing of: metal (including anodized aluminum), glass, mirrors, wood (including painted), concrete, plaster, gypsum, ceramic tiles, natural/artificial stone, PVC, polycarbonate, acrylic, expanded polystyrene, mineral wool.

  • Installation of facade elements, sandwich panels, ventilation systems, roofing materials (tiles, metal, slate), window/door frames, insulated glazing units.

  • Bonding heavy elements (shelves, mirrors, panels, stone), sealing joints, cracks, expansion joints subject to vibration.

  • Interior and exterior work, wet areas, balconies, terraces.

Surface Preparation

  • Surfaces must be clean, dry or slightly damp, free of dust, grease, oil, rust, old sealant/adhesive.

  • Degrease metal/glass surfaces with acetone, alcohol, or white spirit.

  • High adhesion even on damp or poorly prepared substrates (but clean for maximum strength).

  • Clean weak substrates down to a solid surface.

Application

  • Application temperature: from +5 °C to +40 °C (optimal +15…+25 °C).

  • Humidity: no restrictions (can be used on damp surfaces).

  • Apply with a gun: in dots, strips, a "snake" pattern, or a continuous layer (thickness 3–10 mm depending on load and unevenness).

  • For bonding — apply in dots or strips; for sealing — fill the joint completely.

Bonding / Sealing

  • Attach the element within 10–20 minutes after application (high initial tack).

  • Press firmly for 10–60 seconds (for heavy items, secure with masking tape, supports, or clamps for 24–48 hours).

  • The joint can be shaped/smoothed immediately with a wet finger, sponge, or tool.

  • Can paint the fresh joint with water-based or acrylic paints.

Drying / Curing Time (at +23 °C, humidity 50%)

  • Skin formation — 10–25 minutes

  • Initial strength (light load possible) — after 1–3 hours

  • Full curing — 2–3 mm per day (full strength after 24–72 hours depending on thickness, temperature, and humidity).

  • Water resistance and elasticity — after full curing.

Coverage

  • For bonding: 200–500 g/m² (depends on application method).

  • For sealing: a 290–310 ml tube yields ≈ 10–12 m of a 5×5 mm joint.

  • Depends on unevenness, type of materials, and layer thickness.

Tool Cleaning

  • Fresh adhesive — with white spirit, gasoline, acetone, or a special cleaner for MS polymers.

  • Dried adhesive — only mechanically (scraper, knife, blade).

Important Warnings

  • Do not use on polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), Teflon, bitumen, or some silicones (test adhesion on a sample).

  • Not for aquariums, permanent immersion in pressurized water, or food contact surfaces.

  • Work in a ventilated area (low odor, but avoid inhalation).

  • Avoid contact with skin and eyes — rinse with water; if necessary, consult a doctor.

  • Store at temperatures between +5 °C and +25–30 °C, do not freeze, keep away from fire.

  • Joint service temperature: from -40 °C to +100–120 °C.

  • Shelf life — 12–18 months.
