Lacrysil / Polifarb Universal Construction Adhesive
Universal acrylic water-based adhesive (ready-to-use, white/beige). High initial tack, elastic, water-resistant after drying.

Intended Use

• Installation of skirting boards, moldings, thresholds, decorative panels, ceiling tiles, Styrofoam, cork coverings.

• Bonding shelves, mirrors, drywall, chipboard/MDF, wood, metal (limited), compatible plastics, ceramic tiles (small format), linoleum/carpet (locally).

• Bonding various materials "everything to everything" (wood, concrete, plaster, gypsum, glass, ceramics).

• Interior work in dry and humid areas (not for constant contact with water).

Surface Preparation

• Surfaces must be clean, dry, free of dust, grease, oil, peeling old paint/whitewash, and mold.

• Remove or reinforce weak or powdery substrates with a deep penetration primer.

• Degrease smooth/non-absorbent surfaces (glass, metal, plastic) with acetone/alcohol and lightly sand.

• Porous surfaces can be dampened or primed for better adhesion.

Application

• Air and surface temperature: from +5 °C to +35 °C (optimal +15…+25 °C).

• Air humidity: no more than 65–70%.

• Apply with a gun (from a tube) or spatula (from a bucket): in dots (5–10 pieces per element), strips, a "snake" pattern, or an even layer.

• Layer thickness: 2–6 mm (depending on unevenness and weight of the element).

• For porous surfaces — apply to both sides.

Bonding

• Attach the part within 10–20 minutes after application (while the adhesive is "alive" and tacky).

• Press firmly for 30–60 seconds (for heavy elements — 1–2 minutes).

• For heavy/large elements, it is mandatory to secure with masking tape, supports, or clamps for 24–48 hours.

• Adjustment possible within 10–15 minutes.

Drying Time (at +20 °C, humidity 50–60%)

• Initial grab — 10–30 minutes

• Load possible / removal of fixation — after 24 hours

• Full drying and maximum strength/water resistance — 24–72 hours

Coverage
200–600 g/m² (depends on application, unevenness, and type of surfaces; for spot application — significantly less). A 280–400 ml tube covers ≈ 5–10 m² for lightweight elements; a 3–12 kg bucket covers ≈ 10–50 m².

Tool Cleaning

• Fresh adhesive — warm water with soap.

• Dried adhesive — mechanically or with special products for acrylic adhesives.

Important Warnings

• Do not use on constantly wet surfaces, underwater, or for exterior work without protection.

• Does not bond polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), Teflon, silicone, bitumen, or some plastics (test on a sample).

• Not for aquariums, food contact surfaces, or permanent immersion.

• Avoid contact with skin and eyes — rinse with water.

• Store at temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C, do not freeze.

• Joint service temperature: from -40 °C to +80–100 °C.
