Lacrysil PVA Adhesive — Water-Based Dispersion Adhesive for Wood, Wallpaper, Cardboard, and More
The PVA adhesive line from TM Lacrysil includes classic universal PVA and the water-resistant D3 variant. These are high-quality, water-based polyvinyl acetate dispersion adhesives, solvent-free, eco-friendly, with excellent adhesion and fast drying.

Application method: Clean surfaces from dust/grease, apply evenly with a brush/roller/spatula to both sides (for better strength), press together (use clamps for joinery work). Open time — 5–10 min, full drying — 6–10 hours.

Intended Use
Fast and high-quality bonding of paper, cardboard, newspapers, magazines, appliqués.
Bonding fabrics, leather, imitation leather, felt, wool felt.
Bonding wallpaper (paper, vinyl on paper backing), glass fiber wallpaper, heavy wallpaper (locally).
Bonding drywall, Styrofoam, lightweight wooden elements (plywood, chipboard, MDF — for non-critical connections).
As a plasticizer additive in chalk, gypsum, plaster, cement mortars (increases strength, flexibility, adhesion).
Household, school, creative, office, and light repair work in dry rooms.
Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be clean, dry, solid, free of dust, grease, oil, peeling old paint/adhesive.
Remove or reinforce weak or powdery substrates with a primer.
Porous surfaces (wood, cardboard, drywall) can be slightly dampened or primed.
Lightly sand smooth surfaces for better adhesion.
Application
Application temperature: from +10 °C to +30 °C (optimal +18…+22 °C).
Air humidity: no more than 65–70%.
Stir the adhesive before use (until homogeneous).
Apply in a thin, even layer with a brush, roller, spatula, or applicator: to one or both surfaces (for maximum strength — on both).
Open time: 3–10 minutes (the adhesive must remain tacky, do not let it dry completely).
Bonding
Attach the parts immediately or during the open time.
Press firmly by hand, with a weight, or with clamps (for paper — with a palm; for drywall/wood — with clamps for 30–60 minutes).
For heavy materials — secure for 2–6 hours.
Adjustment possible within 5–10 minutes.
Drying Time (at +20 °C, humidity 50–60%)
Initial grab — 5–15 minutes
Light load possible — after 1–2 hours
Full drying and maximum strength — 6–24 hours
Coverage
80–200 g/m² (for paper/cardboard — 80–120 g/m²; for drywall/wood — 120–180 g/m²; as an additive to mortars — 5–10% by weight of cement/gypsum).
Tool Cleaning
Fresh adhesive — warm water with soap.
Dried adhesive — mechanically (scraper, knife) or with special products.
Important Warnings
Not waterproof — do not use in wet areas, underwater, or for exterior work.
Does not bond polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), Teflon, silicone, or some plastics.
Not for aquariums or food contact surfaces with constant exposure to food.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes — rinse with water.
Store at temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C, do not freeze.
Joint service temperature: from -20 °C to +60–80 °C.
Shelf life — 12–18 months.
