Lacrysil PVA D3 Waterproof Adhesive
High-quality water-dispersion PVA adhesive, class D3 (European standard DIN EN 204). Milky white, solvent-free, low odor, eco-friendly.

Intended Use

  • Fast and reliable bonding of all types of wood, chipboard, fiberboard, plywood, veneer (hot and cold bonding methods).

  • Manufacturing windows, doors, stairs, furniture, tables, chairs.

  • Bonding facing materials, drywall, wallpaper, glass fiber wallpaper, cardboard, linoleum, tiles, leather, fabric, paper, porcelain, glass.

  • Adding to chalk and cement mortars to increase strength.

  • Recommended for joinery and furniture production in areas with high humidity.

Surface Preparation

  • Surfaces must be clean, dry, free of dust, grease, oil, old paint, or dirt.

  • Degrease if necessary (with a solvent or soap).

  • For better adhesion, surfaces can be slightly rough.

Application

  • Application temperature: +18…+22 °C (optimal; acceptable from +10 to +30 °C).

  • Air humidity: no more than 65–70%.

  • Apply evenly with a brush, roller, or spatula to one or both surfaces (for maximum strength — on both).

  • Open time (time until bonding): 5–10 minutes (do not allow to dry completely).

Bonding

  • Attach the parts immediately after application or during the open time.

  • Press firmly (for joinery work, it is mandatory to use clamps, a press, or weights).

  • Minimum pressing time: 10–15 minutes (for light joints); for strong woodworking joints — 30–60 minutes or longer under pressure.

  • For critical work, hold under pressure for up to 2–4 hours.

Drying Time (at +20 °C, humidity 50–60%)

  • Initial grab — 10–30 minutes

  • Drying time — 6–10 hours (light load possible)

  • Full curing and maximum strength — 24 hours

  • Water resistance is achieved after full drying.

Coverage
Approximately 80–200 g/m² (depends on the porosity of materials and application; for wood — 100–150 g/m²).

Tool Cleaning

  • Fresh adhesive — warm water with soap.

  • Dried adhesive — mechanically (scraper, knife) or with special products.

Important Warnings

  • Do not apply at temperatures below +10 °C or on constantly wet surfaces (class D3 is for occasional humidity, not for outdoor use unprotected from rain).

  • Not for bonding PE, PP, Teflon, silicone, or some plastics.

  • Not for aquariums or food contact surfaces with constant exposure to food/water.

  • Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If contact occurs, rinse with water.

  • Store at temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C, do not freeze (may lose properties after thawing).

  • Joint service temperature: from -40 °C to +100 °C.

  • Shelf life — 12 months.
