Lacrysil / Polifarb LUX Adhesive for Glass Fiber Wallpaper
Ready-to-use professional adhesive for heavy wallpaper. Transparent after drying, environmentally friendly, high adhesion, leaves no marks on the front side.

Intended Use
Bonding of:

  • Glass fiber wallpaper and glass mat;

  • All types of heavy wallpaper (vinyl, non-woven, polyester, textile, jute, tufted, embossed, structured);

  • Wallpaper for painting, paper wallpaper, heavy non-woven wallpaper.

Onto absorbent surfaces: concrete, foam concrete, plaster, putty, drywall, painted walls (in dry rooms).

Surface Preparation

  • Surfaces must be clean, dry, solid, free of dust, grease, peeling old paint/whitewash, and mold.

  • Remove or reinforce weak or powdery substrates with a primer (e.g., Lacrysil primer concentrate 1:10).

  • Prime highly absorbent surfaces for even absorption.

  • Lightly sand smooth/glossy surfaces.

Application

  • Temperature: from +5 °C to +35 °C (optimal +15…+25 °C).

  • Air humidity: no more than 65–70%.

  • Stir the adhesive until homogeneous (if in a bucket).

  • Apply evenly with a roller, brush, or spatula to the wall (for glass fiber/heavy wallpaper — apply to the wall; for non-woven — often applied to the panel).

  • Layer thickness: sufficient for full coverage (do not skimp).

Bonding

  • Apply the panel immediately after adhesive application (within the open time of the adhesive — 5–15 minutes).

  • Smooth out with a spatula or plastic squeegee from the center to the edges, expelling air.

  • Ability to adjust the position of the panel within 10–15 minutes after pasting.

  • Secure edges with masking tape if necessary (for heavy wallpaper).

  • Do not load (paint) earlier than after 24 hours.

Drying Time (at +20 °C, humidity 50–60%)

  • Initial grab — 10–30 minutes

  • Painting / loading possible — after 24 hours

  • Full drying — 24–48 hours
