Alkyd and acrylic enamels and primer-enamels for metal, wood and concrete: anticorrosive 3-in-1 and 7-in-1 systems, a hammered finish, PF-115, PF-266 and GF-021 primers.

A 3-in-1 primer-enamel goes straight onto rust: brush off loose rust and flaking old paint, degrease and dry the metal, and no separate converter or primer is needed. Alkyd-urethane ZAKHYST 3 in 1 is meant for mild steel and is used on gates, fences, pipes and steelwork. The hammer-finish version hides dents and welds in its texture and is applied in 2–3 coats wet-on-wet. Acrylic 7in1 primer-enamels dry in 30 minutes and have no strong odour, so they suit radiators (up to +80 °C) and work indoors.

Is a rust converter needed? No. Loose rust is brushed off with a wire brush, the metal is degreased and dried, and the primer-enamel goes on with no converter or separate primer.

Can a 3-in-1 primer-enamel go on galvanised steel? No, ZAKHYST 3 in 1 is not suitable for galvanised steel, and the 7in1 primer-enamels are not rated for it either. No paint goes directly onto zinc: galvanised steel is degreased and given 1 coat of GF-021 alkyd primer, then, once it is dry, topcoated with RUBBER FARBA rubber paint, PF-115 alkyd enamel or DEKOLUX.

What temperature can I paint at? ZAKHYST 3 in 1 is applied at +5 to +30 °C and up to 60% air humidity; the coating reaches its service properties after 7 days.
