Description

Professional gun foam is a high-quality one-component foam for filling voids and sealing joints and cracks.

15–30 % instead of 200–300 %

That is the whole difference from household foam, and it decides everything. Household foam triples after gunning; this one adds 15–30 %, so what you gun is what you get. No bowed frames, no lifted sills, nothing to redo.

The gun is a tool, not an accessory

Metered delivery, access into narrow joints, and the ability to stop halfway: a can keeps for weeks on the gun if it is not flushed.

Even structure

A steady yield and a fine, uniform cell structure. Household foam leaves large voids and uneven density inside the joint; a professional bead cuts clean, so it insulates evenly through its depth.

Where it is used

Fitting window and door frames, fixing wall panels and roof structures, pipe and cable runs, thermal and acoustic insulation. Yield: 750 ml up to 60 l, 800 ml up to 65 l, 850 ml up to 70 l.

Timings and conditions

Skin at 10 minutes, tack-free at 15–20, trimmable at 25, fully cured in 12–24 hours. Apply at -10 to +35 °C with the can at +15 to +30 °C. Service -60 to +100 °C, non-conductive, 18-month shelf life.

Limits

No UV resistance: always cover the bead. Cured foam comes off only mechanically.

How much you need

The same yield as household foam, but less per joint, because it does not treble.

  • 750 ml (60 l) covers about 10–12 m of 30×30 mm joint;
  • 800 ml (65 l) covers 11–13 m;
  • 850 ml (70 l) covers 12–14 m.

A six-window flat is about 35 m: three 850 ml cans against four or five of household foam, whose surplus is trimmed into the bin.

A can keeps for weeks on the gun, so buying tight is safer here.

Application

Preparation

  • bring the can to +15–30 °C;
  • clean and mist the joint;
  • shake 20–30 times;
  • screw the can onto the gun, valve upward.

Application

  • hold the can inverted;
  • meter with the gun screw, not the trigger;
  • fill two thirds: the foam adds 15–30 %;
  • build deep voids in layers, misting each.

Afterwards

  • mist the fresh bead;
  • trim at 25 minutes; full cure 12–24 hours;
  • always cover against UV.

The gun

  • the can can stay fitted until next time;
  • flush the gun with foam cleaner before removing the can;
  • cured foam cannot be flushed out: clean immediately.

FAQ: household or professional, guns, winter

  • Is it worth the extra?
    Beyond two windows, yes: 15–30 % growth against 200–300 % means accurate joints first time and less foam per metre.

  • Is a gun required?
    Yes; it pays for itself from about the third can.

  • How full?
    Two thirds, more than household foam, precisely because it barely expands.

  • Winter work?
    Yes, from -10 °C, but keep the can at +15–30 °C.

  • Keeping a can?
    Leave it on the gun unflushed; flush only before removing it.
