Lacrysil Adhesive for Artificial Grass — Ready-to-Use Adhesive for Fixing Artificial Lawns and "Artificial Grass" Type Carpets
Ready-to-use one-component acrylic adhesive — specially designed for the reliable fixation of artificial grass, "artificial grass" type carpets, and other synthetic coverings on woven and non-woven backings. Provides high initial tack, zero vertical sagging, an elastic waterproof bond, and durable adhesion on mineral, wooden, and absorbent surfaces.
Key Features:
Base: Acrylic (water-based dispersion, solvent-free)
Color: Beige / Light grey
Consistency: Paste-like, thixotropic (no sagging on vertical surfaces)
Application temperature: +8…+35 °C
Service temperature: -40…+90 °C
Full curing time: 24–48 hours
Coverage: 400–800 g/m² (depends on the surface and type of artificial grass)
Adhesion: Ultra-high to artificial grass (on woven/non-woven backings), concrete, cement-sand screeds, brick, stone, plank floors, plywood, fiberboard, OSB, drywall, etc.
After drying: Water-resistant, elastic, strong bond; withstands mechanical loads, deformation, weather conditions; resistant to moisture and UV
Eco-friendliness: Environmentally friendly, low odor
Shelf life: 18 months (at +5…+30 °C)
Advantages:
Ready to use — no need to dilute or mix
Ultra-high adhesion to synthetic coverings and mineral/wooden substrates
Zero vertical sagging — convenient for large areas and slopes
Elastic bond — withstands movement, temperature changes, and loads from walking/play
Suitable for interior (decorative areas) and exterior (artificial lawns, sports fields) work
Applications:
Fixing artificial grass (artificial lawns), "artificial grass" type carpets, sports surfaces on woven/non-woven backings onto:
Mineral surfaces (concrete, cement-sand screed, brick, stone)
Wooden surfaces (plank floors, plywood, fiberboard, OSB)
Other absorbent substrates
Ideal for installing artificial lawns at dachas, sports fields, children's play areas, terraces, and interior decorative coverings.
Application method:
Clean the substrate from dust, grease, old coating, and remove dust (can be dampened for better adhesion).
Stir the adhesive, apply with a notched trowel (tooth size B3–B11 depending on the thickness of the grass and substrate).
Lay the artificial grass, press firmly/roll with a heavy roller or board.
Open time — 10–20 min (for adjustment).
Full load-bearing capacity — after 24–48 hours (do not walk on the covering immediately).
Reliable adhesive for artificial grass — choose Lacrysil for Artificial Grass. Holds fast, no sagging, lasts for years!
Lacrysil / Polifarb Adhesive for Artificial Grass
Ready-to-use one-component acrylic adhesive. High initial tack, zero vertical sagging, elastic water-resistant joint.
Intended Use
Reliable fixing of artificial lawns (artificial grass of all types).
Fixing "artificial grass" type carpet and other synthetic roll coverings on woven and non-woven backings.
Bonding onto:
Mineral surfaces (concrete, cement-sand screed, brick, stone);
Wooden surfaces (boards, plywood, fiberboard, OSB);
Absorbent substrates (plaster, drywall, etc.).
Used in the installation of artificial lawns, interior and exterior decorative finishing work.
Surface Preparation
The substrate must be clean, dry, solid, free of dust, grease, oil, old adhesive, peeling paint, plant residues, and dirt.
Clean concrete/cement screeds from laitance, dust, and grease.
Wooden surfaces — free from old coatings, varnishes, oils.
It is recommended to prime highly absorbent or porous substrates with an acrylic primer (e.g., Lacrysil primer concentrate 1:5–1:10).
Substrate and air temperature: from +10 °C to +30 °C, humidity <70%.
Application
Mix the adhesive in the bucket thoroughly until homogeneous.
Apply evenly with a notched trowel (notch A2–B1 or 3–6 mm) onto the prepared substrate.
It is recommended to apply in different directions for better contact.
Allow open time: 10–20 minutes (depends on temperature and humidity — the adhesive should become tacky but not form a dry film).
Laying
Unroll the roll of artificial grass or covering exactly into place.
Lift the edge and lay it onto the applied adhesive.
Press firmly and smooth from the center to the edges with a roller or a pressing board (weight 50–70 kg).
Ensure tight contact over the entire area, especially at the seams.
Seal joints of artificial grass with special tape and seam adhesive (sold separately).
Avoid walking on the fresh covering for 24 hours.
Drying Time (at +20 °C, humidity 50–60%)
Initial grab — 20–40 minutes
Light load possible — after 24 hours
Full drying and maximum strength/water resistance — 48–72 hours
Coverage
400–700 g/m² (depends on substrate absorbency and trowel type; for concrete — 500–600 g/m², for OSB/plywood — 400–500 g/m²).
Tool Cleaning
Fresh adhesive — warm water with soap.
Dried adhesive — mechanically (scraper, spatula) or with special solvents for acrylic materials.
Important Warnings
Do not apply at temperatures below +10 °C or in high humidity.
Not for permanently flooded surfaces or areas with strong, constant water flow.
Does not bond polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), Teflon, silicone, or some plastic substrates.
Store at temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C, do not freeze.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes — rinse with water if contact occurs.
