Lacrysil "INTERIOR JOINT" Acrylic Sealant — For Internal Installation Joints (Windows, Doors, Vapor Barrier)
High-quality water-dispersion acrylic sealant "INTERIOR JOINT" (TM Lacrysil) — specially designed for sealing internal installation joints! Provides vapor barrier, water resistance, an elastic joint, and the ability to paint for an aesthetic finish indoors.
Key Features:
Base: Acrylic (water-based dispersion, solvent-free)
Color: White
Application temperature: +5…+35 °C
Service temperature: -40…+100 °C
Full curing time: 24–72 hours (depends on thickness, humidity, temperature)
Elasticity: High (the joint withstands deformation up to 400%)
Adhesion: Excellent to PVC, wood, metal, concrete, brick, aerated block, plaster, drywall, Styrofoam, etc.
After drying: Elastic, water-resistant, vapor-permeable? (Note: The text says "пароизоляционный шов" which means "vapor barrier joint" - it blocks vapor). It is a vapor barrier joint; no shrinkage, resistant to microflora, paintable.
Eco-friendliness: Environmentally friendly, low odor
Shelf life: 18 months
Other: High vapor barrier (prevents condensation inside), ideal for vertical joints (no sagging)
Advantages:
Specifically for internal installation joints — high vapor barrier and water resistance
High elasticity and temperature resistance (-40…+100 °C)
Excellent adhesion to building materials
Paintable after drying — aesthetic finish
Economical coverage, easy to apply
Applications:
Sealing internal installation joints of windows, doors, balcony units; sealing joints in thermal insulation systems (polyurethane foam inside); filling gaps between frames and walls, connections with concrete/brick/aerated block; interior work in construction and renovation (rooms, kitchens, bathrooms where a vapor barrier is needed).
Application method: Clean surfaces from dust/grease/old foam, dampen (for better adhesion), apply evenly into the joint with a spatula/gun, smooth with a damp tool. Remove excess immediately. Full curing — 1–3 days (do not load the joint immediately, avoid high humidity during curing).
Ideal for internal joints — choose Lacrysil "INTERIOR JOINT". Vapor barrier, elasticity, reliability!

Lacrysil "INTERIOR JOINT B" Acrylic Sealant is specially designed for sealing internal installation joints of windows, doors, balcony units, and other structures indoors. It creates a vapor-barrier, water-resistant, elastic, and paintable joint that prevents the penetration of steam and moisture from the room into the polyurethane foam, protecting against condensation and mold inside the joint.
Recommended Applications:
Internal installation joints of window and door frames
Sealing joints between the frame and the wall/opening (indoors)
Sealing balcony units, shop windows, internal connections
Filling joints around polyurethane foam (inner layer)
Sealing connections between frames and internal materials (plaster, drywall, wallpaper, tiles)
Interior work in residential, office, and commercial premises
Sealing openings around internal pipes, radiators, cables
Protecting polyurethane foam from steam and condensation from inside the room
Sealing joints in areas with high humidity (kitchens, bathrooms, toilets — in the absence of direct water contact)
Suitable for these surfaces:
PVC, aluminum, and wooden window/door frames
Concrete, brick, aerated block, foam concrete
Plaster, drywall, wallpaper
Metal (aluminum, steel)
Tiles, porcelain stoneware (internal walls)
Other mineral and porous substrates (after priming)
Not Recommended For:
External installation joints (use the "A" vapor-permeable version for exteriors)
Joints with constant water immersion or high water pressure (swimming pools, showers — use silicone or MS polymer sanitary sealant)
Aquariums or potable water tanks
Surfaces constantly submerged in water
Joints subject to heavy mechanical loads or constant friction
Important Recommendations Before Application:
Surfaces must be clean, dry or slightly damp, free of dust, grease, old foam, and detergents
It is recommended to degrease metal and plastic with alcohol or acetone
For better adhesion on porous surfaces (concrete, aerated block, plaster) — pre-prime with a deep-penetration acrylic primer
Apply after filling the joint with polyurethane foam (inner layer over the foam)
Do not apply in high humidity or rain
For vertical joints — high thixotropy, no sagging
Typical Usage Examples:
Sealing the internal joint between a window frame and the wall (preventing condensation and mold inside)
Sealing joints around door frames indoors
Filling gaps around balcony units and shop windows from the inside
Protecting polyurethane foam from steam and moisture from the room
Sealing connections between frames and plaster/drywall/wallpaper
Sealing openings around internal pipes and radiators
After full curing (24–72 hours depending on layer thickness, temperature, and humidity), the joint becomes a vapor barrier, water-resistant, and can be painted with acrylic or water-based paints.
Lacrysil "INTERIOR JOINT B" Sealant — reliable internal protection for joints. Vapor-barrier, water-resistant, easily paintable — protects against condensation and mold inside!
